Knowledge of Chest Pain Is the Best Weapon

Knowledge of Chest Pain Is the Best Weapon to Relieve It

Chest pain is medically termed “angina” or “angina pectoris”. Heavy exercise or stress sometimes causes mild angina pain that goes away with relaxation and rest. Chest pain also results from the narrowing of arteries that connect to the heart. The narrowed arteries cannot supply sufficient blood the moment the heart works hard or beats rapidly due to some physical or mental factors.

If severe chest pain leads to a heart attack, one of the arteries becomes blocked. However, chest pain always does not result from the heart. It may also arise from the lungs, the chest wall, the diaphragm, the esophagus, the skin, the spine or the upper portion of the abdominal cavity. Chest pain shows some symptoms that indicate the need of a doctor.

Symptoms of Chest Pain

  • Acute pain behind the breastbone or in the middle of the chest
  • The pain may feel tightening, squeezing or choking
  • Pain may extend to the neck, shoulders, jaw, throat or arms from the chest
  • Excessive sweating when the pain is severe
  • Feeling dizzy, anxious or unwell
  • A sensation of sickness in the stomach
  • Symptoms last from ten to fifteen minutes
  • Feeling breathless
  • Irregular pulse

Back Pain - A Real Problem That Needs Attention

Back pain is really “a pain in the posterior” as it keeps nagging many people all over the world. It is very easy to come across people who suffer from back pain in everyday life. This is a pain, which can get very complex and requires treatment for easing the pain.

The human back has a very complex mechanism, so when there is a pain it is difficult to know the exact cause of the pain that is plaguing you. The human back has the spine running vertically at the center. There is an interlinking of the vertebrae and the many other bones. If there is a change in the spinal column, there can be back problems resulting from it.

The changes in the spinal column often happen because of an injury caused to the neck or the back. Sometimes, these changes are due to aging, which can cause the discs to begin to degenerate. Many people discover to their horror that they have a mild form of scoliosis, or curvature of the spine, which is causing them pain in mid-life.

Most of us experience back pain at least once in our lifetime and there are many unfortunate ones who all suffer from prolonged and acute back pain that leaves them with no peace at all. Such a pain usually occurs on the lower back as it is the area that supports most of your body weight. Arthritis can also appear in the spine and affect the lower back.

Back pain can get really bad if it is left ignored. The pain can cause one to have a significant disability. There can be a numbness that will radiate down the leg and also to the foot. This can sometimes be caused by a problem called sciatica, and can be quite hard to treat effectively.

If you have back pain, don't ignore it! Any pain you feel is your body's way of telling you that something is wrong.

Managing Arthritis in Your Everyday Life

Arthritis affects every single minute in the life of those who suffer from it. The pain and inflammation can be managed more easily if careful attention is paid to the following.

Good Posture

Maintaining proper posture minimizes stress and reduces inflammation of the joints and the spine. You should maintain good posture while standing. The feet should be kept twelve inches apart. You should keep your shoulders stretched and drawn back to broaden the chest. The weight should be equally distributed between the feet.

Excessive Weight

Loss of excessive weight can lessen the burden of pressure on the joint. Accumulation of weight in the body puts pressure on the joints and that in turn, causes them pain. If the load of pressure and stress on the joints goes beyond endurance, joints begin to decay and deteriorate. Losing ten pounds of weight reduces pressure on joints by thirty pounds.

High Heels

Women tend to wear shoes with high heels. They should consider the pros and cons of wearing high heels. Researchers have shown that women who frequently wear with two-inch high heels develop torque in their knees due to their movements. It strains the joint that is near the kneecap at the back. This stress further leads to osteoarthritis.

Functional Footwear

You should use sturdy and supportive shoes while exercising, running or jogging. Wearing shoes with worn out heels at the time of exercise overwhelms the joints with stress. So keep checking your shoes if their soles are worn out.

House Cleaning

You should take a lot of time to clean the house, its walls and floor. Do one cleaning job only once a day. It is good for the health of your joints. Listen to music, take breaks or sit quiet for a while to get the cleaning job done easily without feeling any stress on your joints. These all keep you away from arthritis.

Measured Improvement

Arthritis professionals often recommend a scale with one to ten degrees for people to measure their arthritis pain. If it measures high on the scale, you should make certain changes in your lifestyle to reduce the pain. Your doctor will probably recommend some or all of the above, as well as make other suggestions to help make you more comfortable.

Basic Steps to Healthy Lungs

What are lungs?

The lungs are a pair of organs in the chest, which are responsible for the exchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide between the air we breathe and our blood. The lungs draw in oxygen from air and redistribute it into the blood stream, where it is used by the cells in the body.

What do the lungs do?

The cells in the body constantly need a new supply of oxygen to produce energy for the body. Without oxygen entering the lungs to create energy and carbon dioxide leaving the body as waste, we die. When lack of oxygen occurs, cellular functions are damaged and cell death may occur. As we use energy, waste products are created, including carbon dioxide, a gas. Eliminating carbon dioxide from the body detoxifies it. The lungs help clean the air we breathe as well.

Basic Steps to Healthy Lungs

Here are some basic steps to take to keep your lungs healthy.

1. Don’t smoke! This is the best protection you can give your lungs. Quitting smoking reduces the incidences of all lung diseases, especially lung cancer. More women die of lung cancer than of breast cancer each year. Smoking is the primary cause of lung cancer. Talk to your doctor about the best smoking-cessation program for you. He can recommend prescription drugs to help you kick the habit or refer you to a respiratory therapist or a smoking-cessation counselor.

2. See a doctor immediately if you have a chronic cough, shortness of breath, or other abnormal lung symptoms. Follow his advice.

3. Avoid air pollution, secondhand cigarette smoke, and toxic fumes. Ozone in smog, a common pollutant, impairs lung function and aggravates asthma and allergies. Particulate matter in the air can also harm you.

4. Exercise. The more you exercise, the more air you breathe, and the stronger your lungs will become.

5. Get enough vitamin C, vitamin D, and magnesium in your diet to improve your lung function. Magnesium is found in leafy, green vegetables, such as: spinach, cucumber, green beans, chard, and celery. Oranges, lemons, tomatoes, grapefruit, and strawberries are wonderful sources of vitamin C. Vitamin D is available in milk products and made by the body when you spend time in the sun.

6. Get immunized for flu and pneumonia if you are over age 65 or have a chronic health problem, such as heart disease, asthma, or diabetes.

Follow these basic steps for healthy lungs. And, once again, DON”T SMOKE!

Sensible Strategies for Great Sleep

1. After checking with your doctor, you may be able to encourage sleep with melatonin supplements and wake yourself up with early morning light, if you have trouble sleeping. But before using melatonin or any sleep aid, give your body time to set itself to your normal sleep and wake pattern.

2. Daily exercise will help you sleep, but don’t exercise within two hours of bedtime or you may be too “wired” to fall asleep.

3. A warm bath will raise your body temperature and help you sleep.

4. Keep a regular bedtime and a regular wakeup time. Irregular sleep hours will set your mind in a default mode of wakefulness, leading to insomnia. Worry about not sleeping makes it worse.

5. Keep your bedroom dark and quiet, and use it for sleep and sex only. Purchase a sleep mask and ear plugs if necessary.

6. If you can’t get to sleep within 20 minutes, get up and do something boring for a half hour to an hour. Then try to sleep again.

7. Use relaxation exercises, meditation, acupressure, or prayer to reduce stress. If something is worrying you, keep a pad and pencil by your bed and write it down. You can also write down reminders for the next day. Once they’re on paper, you can quit worrying about them.

8. Avoid caffeine before bedtime.

9. Don’t sleep too warm.

10. For some people, a bout of insomnia may predict a bout of depression, which will occur four to six weeks later. Treating insomnia early may stop that bout of depression in its tracks.

Use these ten sensible strategies to get the soothing sleep you need.

What Is Sleep?

Sensible Strategies for Soothing Sleep

Have you ever had a night when you just couldn’t get to sleep? Or, a night during which you kept waking up frequently? Don’t turn one restless night into full blown insomnia! Use these sensible strategies to get soothing, restful sleep.

What is sleep?

Sleep is regulated by our circadian rhythms, the body's biological clock. Circadian rhythms are tied to cycles of light and dark. Sensors on our retinas deliver daytime vs. nighttime messages to the pineal gland, inside the brain. When it is dark outside, the pineal gland produces the sleep-inducing hormone, melatonin, which helps put us to sleep. When it is light outside, the pineal encourages the body to awaken.

During the course of a night, we move into deeper and deeper slumber. After getting to the deepest stage, we begin dream sleep, which includes vigorous brain activity and rapid eye movement (REM). We cycle through these stages of sleep every 90 minutes.

What causes poor sleep?

Although most Americans try to get at least seven hours of sleep per night, more than 60% report that they have trouble sleeping several nights per week. They attribute the lack of sleep to worry, relationships gone wrong, allergies, and heartburn. Too many hours spent at work also robs us of sleep.

The Purpose of Sleep

Sleep affects everything we do: our ability to learn, our skills, our memory, stamina, and our health and safety. Most of all, it affects our moods. Sleep disruption may be the biggest trigger of depression. Restful, restoring sleep energizes us, keeps our brains humming, improves memory, and maintains our ability to stay safe and healthy.

Proven Ways to Protect Your Digestion

1. Eat organic vegetables, fruits, and meats, if possible. This will help eliminate pesticides and chemical fertilizers from your diet and allow your digestion to operate easily and effectively.

2. Eat a balanced diet: 2 servings of protein, 3 of dairy, 4 of starchy carbohydrates and whole grains, and 5 to 9 of fruits and vegetables every day. Bake, boil, and broil foods, instead of frying them. Eat larger meals early in the day and smaller ones in the evening to make them easier to digest. Eat spicy and acidic foods in moderation, or eliminate them if you have digestive problems. Chew your food well and eat slowly. Eat a serving of yoghurt each day to provide natural, beneficial bacteria for the digestive tract.

3. Exercise daily to improve digestion, reduce cholesterol, and decrease body fat.

4. Take a daily multivitamin. Vitamin A is particularly important for good digestion.

5. Eliminating wastes and toxins is very important in the digestive process. You should have a bowel movement one to three times each day.

6. Reduce stress with music, meditation, massage, and aromatherapy. Take time off from work to pursue interests you enjoy.

7. If you experience indigestion often, get treatment from your doctor.

8. Quit smoking! Smoking depresses the immune system and causes or makes it more difficult to recover from serious diseases, such as cancer of the stomach and esophagus. Smoking also inhibits digestion and appetite.

9. Drink plenty of water, at least 2 liters (quarts) per day.

10. Drink liquor in moderation or not at all. Liquor puts stress on the liver and may hurt the liver’s ability to provide substances which aid digestion.

Use these proven ways to protect your digestion, avoid illness and disease, and stay healthy!

Why Protect Your Digestion?

Proven Ways to Protect Your Digestion

There's a saying in Chinese medicine: "Above all else, protect your digestion.” Although we think of the gastrointestinal tract as the place where food is digested, it’s a very active immune center. It contains more than 80% of our antibody producing cells. Hence, it is vitally important to protect your digestion in order to protect your health.

What is Digestion?

Digestion is the processing of foods and fluids for use in the body by the gastrointestinal tract (GI tract).

Why Protect Your Digestion?

If you aren't digesting foods properly, they aren’t turning into healthy blood and energy needed for your organs to function properly. Your organs cannot perform their jobs well under these circumstances. Your heart and lungs can't function. Your kidneys, bladder, liver, gall bladder, stomach and intestines can't do their jobs.

Your immune system can’t protect you from cancer and other illnesses and diseases. You may develop vitamin deficiencies or malnutrition, because your body and organs are unable to get anything from your blood to sustain them.

If you're not digesting fluids correctly, they collect in your tissues, congeal, and this leads to obesity, depression, urinary infections, dementia, seizures, tumors, headaches, allergies, and breathing problems.

The digestion of food and fluids includes elimination, so if your digestion is not working well, you will have problems with constipation, diarrhea, and urination.

Digestion is extremely important. Without it, your food and drink would simply sit in your digestive tract like a lump of clay - doing nothing.

Tips On How To Increase Your Energy

1. Eat larger meals in the middle of the day, instead of in the evening, to increase energy and help you lose weight. Digestion is much more active during the day, which uses food for energy more effectively. At night, digestion slows down and more weight is gained.

2. Eat organic vegetables and fruits and grass-fed sources of meat, if possible. This will help eliminate pesticides, chemical fertilizers, antibiotics, steroids, and hormones from your food. This will free your body from struggling to eliminate these chemicals and save energy.

3. Avoid fast foods, high sugar foods, white flour, and saturated fats in your diet. Eat a raw diet, cooking food as little as possible. When you do cook, bake, boil, and broil foods, instead of frying them. Take a daily multivitamin. Fish and dark green, leafy vegetables energize the brain.

4. Getting daily exercise will reduce stress, increase the body’s ability to get oxygen to the cells efficiently, lower blood pressure, reduce cholesterol, and decrease body fat to increase energy.

5. Work on curing the cause of diseases, not just treating them with prescription drugs. Avoid mind and mood altering drugs.

Ten Techniques to Increase Your Energy!

It’s a sad fact that more and more people are falling victim to diseases and obesity, which deprive them of energy and vitality, and cause them to stop enjoying life. Without energy, the quality of life declines. Lack of energy is the number one complaint that doctors hear. We must fight fatigue and increase energy in order to enjoy life to the fullest!

Causes of Lack of Energy

Why do people lack energy? It’s because of poor health. What is responsible for poor health? For the most part, disease is not the cause of poor health; it’s the result of it. Some of the biggest causes of poor health and a need to increase energy levels are:

  • Eating large amounts of fast food and gaining weight

  • Consuming chemical fertilizers and pesticides, used to grow foods

  • Side effects of prescription drugs, which don’t treat the underlying causes of poor health

  • Reducing and destroying nutrients while preparing foods

  • Stress

  • Environmental pollution and toxins in water and air

  • Drugs (antibiotics, steroids, and hormones) being injected into or fed to meat sources, such as chickens, cows, and pigs

Take a look at your life - the stress you might be under, the things you eat, and how much of them you consume. Reflect upon the air you breathe, the medications you take, and the water you drink. How are your energy levels? Do you see room for any improvement in the above? The more of these things you remove from your life, the more energy you will have.

Control Your Heart Attack Risk Factors

It's much easier to take steps to prevent a heart attack than it is to experience one, or to recover from one if you are very lucky. Here are some of the things anyone who is concerned about having a heart attack should take the time to check out.

  • Consult your doctor and have him/her assess your heart attack risk factors. Follow his/her advice to control any risk factors you may have.
  • If you have high cholesterol, cut saturated fats from your diet. Use cholesterol lowering drugs if you need them. Get daily exercise. Eat nine servings of fruits and vegetables daily as plant sterols help control cholesterol very effectively.
  • Have your blood pressure checked often. If your pressure is higher than 120/80, take steps to reduce it. Get daily exercise. Use medication if necessary. Lose weight.
  • Avoid smoking and taking drugs. Smoking cigarettes and taking drugs puts your heart at risk. Stop! Studies have proven that smoking doubles your risk of a heart attack. Each year, over 300,000 Americans die of smoking-related heart disease. Former smokers lower their risk heart attack to normal within ten years of quitting.
  • While drinking alcohol in moderation may not put your heart at risk, drinking excessively does. While alcohol flows through your blood stream, blood is less able to nourish the heart. If alcohol in the blood stream is excessive, your heart will be in danger from fewer nutrients and oxygen. So, don't drink excessively.
  • Lose weight if you are overweight.

Use these lifestyle hints to keep your heart healthy and strong.

Helpful Hints for a Healthy Heart

Helpful Hints for a Healthy Heart

To keep your heart healthy, improve your lifestyle. Here are some lifestyle hints for a healthy heart.

Eat a healthy diet.

A healthy diet can help you reduce your risk of a heart attack. A healthy diet means choosing the right foods and preparing them in healthy ways. Eat lean meats, poultry, eggs, and fish for protein. Add several servings of non-or-low fat dairy foods (milk, cheese, yoghurt) each day. Eat five to nine servings of fruits and vegetables, including all colors of produce. Choose whole grain breads and cereals to round out your diet. Avoid saturated fats, sugar, and highly processed sweets and starches. Bake, broil, stir fry, microwave, and boil foods rather than fry them in butter or saturated fats.

Exercise daily.

Swimming, cycling, jogging, skiing, aerobics, dancing, biking, walking, and many other activities help keep your heart strong. Exercise at least four days per week for 20 minutes each time. If you exercise every day, that is even better. Exercise improves blood flow to the heart and reduces stress.

Take advantage of any opportunity for exercise and build it into your daily activities. For example:

  • Take the stairs instead of the elevator.

  • Park your car at the far end of the parking lot.

  • Walk or bike to work or to go shopping.

  • Mowing the lawn, pulling weeds, and raking leaves are also good exercise.

  • Take a walk with your dog after dinner.

  • Schedule an after-dinner walk or bike ride for the whole family.

Ways to Keep Your Lungs Healthy

Breathe the Fresh and Clean Air

Smoggy and smoky air is full of harm for the lungs. This respiratory organ of the body is more susceptible to the attacks of air-borne microbes than the other organs. It is healthy to breathe in the fresh and open air in the morning when you take a walk in a garden or park. It is better to stay indoors and breathe indoor air during peak hours of the day because at that time the air is polluted. Polluted air can affect your lungs with asthma, allergies or other breath-related disorders. Any problem of the lungs may further develop into lung cancer.

Improve On Your Diet

Antioxidants like vitamin A, vitamin C and vitamin E are beneficial for health of the lungs. Feeding on vegetables and fruits is your best option to get these antioxidants. Bottled Vitamin C is also available. Sort out vegetables and fruits that are highly rich in these vitamins and incorporate them into your daily diet. Water, too, is a necessity for the health of your lungs. Water keeps the lungs hydrated and clean.

Immunization

People who live under long-term medical care need to take special care of their lungs. Influenza outbreak can take a toll on your healthy lungs if you are one of those who gets sick from it. Studies show that infants, children and adults with any other medical condition are at a risk of lung disease. You should take an immunization to protect your lungs from descending into an unhealthy state.

Regular Sustained Activities

Some sustained activities like walking, jogging, bicycling, gardening and exercises can also keep our lungs fit and healthy. Jogging and running are two natural exercises that warm up the lungs by raising your heartbeat. They keep the lungs in a good order to function normally. Cycling is a good exercise. It is beneficial for not only the heart but the lungs as well.

Healthy Lungs = A Good Thing

How Healthy Lungs Can Benefit Your Body

The lungs are as essential as other organs of the body. They are the chief components of the human respiratory system. They work by taking air from outside the body, processing it and then sending it to different parts of the body through the bloodstream. The lungs help distribute the oxygen-rich air throughout the body and discard the carbon dioxide-rich air out of the body. Oxygen is the life-supporting fuel for the body. Therefore, health of the lungs determines the health of your body. It is safe to say that no one who smokes has healthy lungs.

Besides gas exchange, the lungs have other important functions to do for the wellbeing of the body, like:

  • They bring all air to the level of body temperature

  • They protect the body against harmful substances by sneezing, coughing, swallowing or filtering them.

  • They moisturize the inhaled air to keep the level of body humidity.

  • Scavenger cells of the lungs eat up germs and dirt.

Don't Smoke

Smoking is full of anti-health properties for your body. By smoking, you invite several diseases to descend on your body. It is a curse for your lungs. The organ that smoking harms the most is the lungs. The poison of smoking spreads on to the different parts of the body by killing the lungs first.

Addiction to smoking sometimes brings about immature death. It gradually builds up carbon content in the lungs and the carbon content obstructs the supply of oxygen to the lungs. The lungs fall feeble and become diseased due to reduced oxygen supply.

Smoking and Youth

An attempt has been made to teach young people about the dangers of smoking through different types of television commercials and also by having authorities on anti-smoking speak at schools and clubs. This has helped somewhat, but as long as the youth of today think smoking is a "cool" thing to do, teenagers will continue to pick up a cigarette for the first time.

Instead of having speakers come in to speak, why not show them before and after photos of lung cancer sufferers? There is always quite a difference in their appearance before the cancer, and after they are diagnosed and are suffering with it. The sight could make some youngsters stop and think.

Insuring A Good Night's Sleep

Lull Yourself To a Good Sleep

In order to get into a pattern of good sleeping habits, try to have a fixed time for sleeping every day. Maintain a certain time when you go to bed each night. This will be a healthy lifestyle that you can maintain for your own benefit. Slowly, your body will be adjusted to the bedtime you have fixed for yourself, and you will feel tired and sleepy at the nearing of your bedtime. It is also good to have a fixed time for waking up from sleep. You can maintain this discipline for your own health.

This will help you feel relaxed when you wake up in the morning. You do not have to force yourself to sleep, but sleep comes to you naturally. It may not be easy at first, especially if you have been somewhat of a "night owl", but this is one of those instances where persistence pays off.

It is also essential not to allow yourself do any other activities on your bed apart from sleeping. The simple reason is that when you lie in bed and read or watch television, your brain realizes your “bed” as a place of many activities. The idea is to have your bed as just a place for sleeping and relaxing, and you want to keep it that way. Therefore, the next time you go to bed, your subconscious should make you feel sleepy. This is a great way of enjoying good sleep.

Other things that you should keep in mind to help you get a good night's sleep are -

  • Don't eat a heavy meal if you will soon be going to sleep. Heavy meals require good digestion and the process takes longer, and this will not let you sleep well.
  • Make sure that you get good exercise all during the day, as it is a known fact that when you are physically tired, your sleep is better and deeper. You will sleep like a small child does, and feel refreshed in the morning.
  • Also try to get out of bed as soon as you wake up, this will give you a refreshed and energetic feeling. However, you can spend a little more time in bed if you want to snuggle your partner. So, happy sleeping and sweet dreams. Do not let the bed bugs bite you!

However, our body cannot digest and absorb everything in equal manner. Food is the prime source of nutrition for the body. The body gets nutrition from proper digestion of food. Therefore, you should feed on the foods that are easy to digest and healthy for the digestive system.

Five easy tips to have healthy digestion are as follows:

  • Chew the food thoroughly and reduce it to liquid pulp before swallowing it.

  • Reduce intake of wheat, as it is a digestive irritant. Instead, feed on wheat-free pasta, rye bread, oatcakes, brown rice and oat cereals.

  • Eat less refined foods and sugar as these encourage the formation and growth of bad bacteria in your gut.

  • Enrich your diet with fiber-rich vegetables and fruits as these encourage the formation and growth of good bacteria in the gut.

  • Include into your diet supplementing digestive probiotics and enzymes in case you suffer stomach upset, indigestion or constipation.

Fruit - Almost all the fruits are full of health benefits. Fruits with detoxifying potentiality include apricots, berries, kiwi, papaya, mango, peaches, red grapes, melons, cantaloupe and citrus fruits. It is better to avoid dried fruits during the detoxification of the body.

Vegetables - Fresh vegetables are the best food to feed on in order to detoxify your body. Stress, Nutrition, and the Immune System

Relieve Stress Adequately

Stress, no matter whether it is mental or physical, is the bane of your immune system. Stress that is due to many physical and mental reasons weighs down the body and breaks down its health. You should do breathing exercises to relieve any stress in your life. This, in turn, will boost the immunity of your body.

Keep Yourself Hydrated

The skin and mucus membranes form the first defense of the body against the invasion of harmful organisms. Dry skin or mucus membrane is easily susceptible to the ravages of harmful microorganisms. Therefore, keep yourself hydrated to prevent your skin and/or membranes from drying out. Drinking plenty of pure water boosts the immune system and keeps the body system clean.

Moderate Living

Nothing done in excess is good for the health of your immune system. Eating in moderation is beneficial. Too much of an intake of sugar or sweets can weaken the immunity of the body. Too much hard work increases the level of stress. Therefore, avoid doing hard work for a long stretch. Consuming too much of caffeine is a problem too. Taking daily medication for a long time will also reduce the immune power of the body. You can reap long-term benefits from moderate living. Therefore, you need to fine-tune your lifestyle for moderate living.

Good Nutrition

Nothing can be better than good nutrition for the health of your immune system. Your diet should include all of the essential nutrients and be rich in nutritional value. In brief, the diet you feed on should be a balanced and fit one. Vegetables, fruits and pure water should be the chief contents of your diet.

Smoking and Lung Disease

You are more than likely familiar with the number one way to prevent lung diseases which of course is to quit smoking. And, if you have never smoked, definitely do not start! Even constantly being around second hand smoke can increase your risk of lung disease.

This should be taken into consideration no matter where you are today. Although more and more restaurants and social organizations are not allowing smoking within their buildings this is still something to be cautious about. When you are out with friends that smoke, or if you have family members who live in the same household with you that are smokers, stand up for your lungs by telling them what you have learned about the dangers of second-hand smoke.

By taking action and being honest with yourself, you can prevent and even eliminate your risk for lung disease altogether. This means that when you are fighting reoccurring symptoms, it is time to admit that this is not normal. You must at that time face the facts that this is something that you need to act on immediately. From here on, regular exposure to second hand smoke and air pollution can only increase your risk of lung diseases, and this should be accounted for as well.

Living a healthy lifestyle is the key to preventing lung diseases and maintaining lung health for a long period of time. Our lungs are an important aspect of our internal functioning systems. If they become unhealthy, then we are begin to expect a decline of our immune system, digestive system and other processes throughout our body.
