If a medication is prescribed to treat your chest pain, you should follow the instructions of your doctor regarding the time and dosage of medicines. Do not miss a single dosage. In case, you miss by mistake, consult your doctor.

Many a time, stress or anxiety becomes the cause of chest pain. Do some relaxation exercises to keep you stress free. When you feel stressed, leave yourself to the solitude of placidity, take slow, deep breaths by closing your eyes and meditate on things that soothe your mind.

Make sure you are on a daily diet that is low in cholesterol, hydrogenated and saturated fats. The diet should be high in fiber, starches, vegetables and fruits.
